Tasty food, friendly folks, and beautiful open county feel. A must eat place. Hint make sure you're really hungry when you order pancakes they're delicious and HUGE.

I can't recommend this place enough. Road tripping from New York City you stumble upon a lot of places to eat and very few are gems. This one is! We happened to come late Sunday so we had the post church crowd which was a lot of elderly people in cowboy hats. In these small towns sometimes you happen upon some very intimidating "trump" crowds that look sideways at you but this didn't feel so. It was such a sweet atmosphere. The food was definitely home cooked you could tell by the quality, one of the best omelettes I've had and the fried chicken and biscuits were delicious. But what made the whole experience was the waitress Katie. She was around my age, late twenties and she basically knew all the people in there. At one point she delivered French toast to the elderly people behind us and said "want me to cut it for you?" And sat down next to them and cut their breakfast into bite sized pieces while talking sweetly with them. If you come through town stop here

The wait staff was great! I placed my order wrong and when the food arrived I immediately noticed the error. The waitress saw my reaction and I confessed my error. She had the cook make it the right way ( for me). The food was good too!

What a diamond in the rough... excellent offerings, larger portions, fair prices...

This place is your typical small town cafe. I stopped in for breakfast because it was the only place open in town.
When I walked in I saw several tables pushed together were the local men were gathered to solve all the problems of the world over coffee.
I ordered the special which was a sausage scramble. Hash browns that were cooked well but very greasy! Scrambled eggs with sausage, onion, bell pepper and cheese on top.
The cheese was the processed kind (Velveeta) and the eggs were overcooked. It was not a lot of food for the price but it did fill me up.
Total cost was 11.50 with tip.
The service here made up for the mediocre food. My coffee cup never got below half.
